Introducing Fenty’s new blurring skin tint [Review]

Okay So I wanted to provide a quick review on the new Fenty Eaze drop blurring skin tint. The Sephora Seasonal Savings Event Is happening right now and this should definitely be on your list…

This is a lightweight, buildable light-to-medium coverage liquid skin tint that leaves your skin looking blurred and smoothed. This product is Free of parabens and phthalates. It is also vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.

I have been wearing it since our trip to vegas about two weeks ago and I loooove it. It is super easy-to-apply. Its very flexible and will quickly yet visibly even out your complexion with a blurred effect. I love the HydraBlend complex within it that causes it to be humidity & sweat, transfer-resistant! It lasted all day in the hot Vegas heat with no touch ups. It has a smooth texture that layers well with primer and skincare. Overall I give this product a 10 out of 10 and will add it to my Holy grail.

This product was made to layer with your skincare snd primer so after applying all your skincare You will definitely need to Shake well before use and apply a few drops with fingers or foundation brush or as I love to use a beauty blender.
It is buildable so you can put as much as needed to achieve the coverage.desired.

•Other favorite products Ive talked and highly recommended that are makeup related you can see HERE

•My personal Skincare faves are HERE and my current FULL FACE makep routine is HERE

Have you tried the skin tint yet? Let me know in the comments below!

Life updates

Life update: I got the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine || What you’re going to want to do & not do BEFORE your 2nd vaccine

“I almost died after taking the covid-19 vaccine.” Ok not really, but I thought that was the perfect anecdote to start out todays post haha! I will be totally honest tho, I was soooo against getting the vaccine at first. Especially since I was not privy to how the vaccine was made so rapidly without compromising safety. You know what they say tho, an informed decision is a smart one. So I did some research to educate myself so that my decision whether to get the vaccine or not would in fact be a smart one! (This post is kind of lengthy but super informative. You can skip down to paragraph 4 to read about what happened to me after taking the vaccine or the ending of paragraph 6 & 7 to read my do’s & do nots)

Now naturally developing any type of vaccine takes several years of research, study, trail and error and etc. I mean to my current knowledge before the Covid-19 vaccine the fastest vaccine on record was for the mumps and that took like 4 years. So when they said they had the Covid-19 vaccine and it hadnt even been a full year since the outbreak I was like 👀 ohh, do you now?? But after reading an article on Medical News Today and others on the actual CDC website. I learnt that researchers were not just starting from scratch when they found out about SARS-COV-2, which is the virus that causes Covid-19. MINDBLOWING riiite?! SARS-COV-2 is in fact a member of the Coronavirus family. And according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases there are like a ton of coronaviruses including some that are responsible for the common cold and of course the one that sparked the SARS epidemic in 2002. Its proven, that scientists have been studying coronaviruses for 50 plus years. So it makes complete sense that a vaccine was developed in such a short time period since early efforts by scientists to develop similar virus based vaccines gave them all the necessary experimental experience that would be needed to develop the Covid-19 vaccine.

Okay! So once I felt comfortable enough in knowing “all the things” about the preliminary data for said vaccine. AND of course, waited the necessary time period of “monitoring” alllll the ones who got vaccinated first (just in case-sies) and still were alive bwuahahahahaha! (Totes kidding but NOT) I went ahead and decided to get the vaccine. I got the 1st dose of the Pfizer vaccine on 3/4/21. No noticeable side effects besides my arm being extremely sore near the vaccine area. Too bad the same couldnt be said for the 2nd dose…

I received my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine on 3/25/21. The day of I didn’t experience any side effects besides the sore arm again. But loooooord when I woke up. 🤦🏽‍♀️ (now I want to put a FULL disclaimer out there that I wasnt like deathly ill or anythimg like that and that I fully believe after talking to others about their personal experiences. My personal experience was due to what I did the week before and week of my vaccine appt. Ill get into that later) so when I woke up, I immediately noticed I had chills, body aches and a low fever. I was extremely tired, exhausted and I could not stop shivering no matter what I did, I just couldnt get warm enough. Like give👏🏾me👏🏾allll👏🏾the👏🏾blankets! I took some Ibuprofen and got back in the bed and knocked out. I was pretty much in and out of sleep the whole entire day, just waking up to drink water, use the bathroom and take the ibuprofen. Around 1pm I went over to my moms as she had just gotten her 2nd vaccine the day before as well to check on her and bring her lunch. We both had soup. She said she had felt the same exact way since waking up. I stayed for an hour or so then went back home and got back in the bed. This continued throughout the rest of the day into the night and when I had awaken that next morning I felt brand new! It was as if I had never felt sick to begin with. My normal energy levels had returned because I was up and at em’ at 4am ready to go.

I have quite literally spoken to over 15 people (18 to be exact) that I personally know for the sake of this blog post in giving some sort of feed back in the experience of the few collective and more then 90% of them said they experienced if not all or most of the side effects mentioned via the news for at least 4 to 7 days. 5% stated they experienced said side effects for up to 2 full weeks and the remaining 5% stated they experienced no side effects at all. It should also be noted that this 5% did confirm they at one point tested covid positive. While I am NOT a doctor, however I do believe that maybe the reason they didnt experience the said side effects was due to them producing anti-bodies when they had Covid or it could be they just have a good immune system. I dont know for sure but that was the data that I collected. Lol (dont shoot the messenger)

Now again before deciding to get the vaccine myself, I spoke with the 18 different people and collected all their different experiences. I also made sure that I asked if they made it a point to boost their immune system during the week prior their vaccine since it usually takes three to four days for your body to develop strong antibodies to fight off germs. I was very surprised that 100% of the 18 people I had questioned said they did nothing to boost their immunity. Now if you know me personally you know I can be somewhat of a health junkie. So I got to thinking I should boost my immune system by taking my faves:

Emergen-C – 1000mg Vitamin C Powder, with Antioxidants, B Vitamins and Electrolytes, Immunity Supplements for Immune Support. Its a Caffeine Free Fizzy Drink Mix

Liquid IV – {use code: thisdollhere for 25% off your entire purchase + FREE Shipping} This stuff is packed w/ a punch! It has CTT technology which is designed to enhance rapid absorption of water and other nutrients. It also has 5x the daily value of vitamin C (you can never have enough) Zinc & wellmune to maintain & strengthen the immune system.

Ibuprofen – love this Amazon brand! Has over 32,000 5 star reviews.

Essentia – this water is literally all I drink! It has the best taste if that makes sense lol (hubby & I go back and forth about how water doesn’t have a taste. IT DOES!) It is also Ionized Alkaline Bottled Water that has Electrolytes for Taste AND has a pH of 9.5 or higher.. I subscribe to get 4 boxes of 12 liters delivered every month and save $5 per box)

I take all those pretty regularly anyways but I made sure to take them every single day the full week before and during the week of my vaccine appt. I also made sure to take an anti inflammatory like Tylenol or Ibuprofen an hour before my 2nd vaccine appt and every 4 hours after to ensure my arm wasnt as sore as it was the first time around and to keep any fever, chills or body aches to a minimum. It should be noted I had my mom do the same exact thing and we were only feeling sick for 24 hours. It should also be noted that to feel sick is a normal response to the vaccine as your body is basically doing its thing. This is why I think I felt exhausted. My body was working overtime! How strong your immune system depends on how long or short you are feeling the side effects. I 100% believe that by prepping my immune system for all the strenuous work it would undergo after receiving the vaccine, drinking lots of water and allowing my body to rest and regenerate while producing antibodies directly and significantly aided in the lower down time that both my mom and I experienced.

Whether you decide to get the vaccine or not get it make sure you are completely informed as to why you are doing so. Do your research and make a decision based on knowledge and facts. And if you do decide to take the vaccine make sure you are doing everything possible to boost your immune system in preparation of getting vaccinated. I hope this info sheds a bit of light, inspires you to be proactive and helps you be prepared! Thanks so much for stopping by, until next time…

Sephora Seasonal Savings Event || April Sephora Haul

You guys already know that with a new month comes a new Sephora beauty haul. Its routine and like 2nd nature now in my lil “almost a year” of FULL time blogging career. BUT what is completely new (not to me but to my blog) is the Sephora seasonal savings event!! This sale has been around for a good minute now but I have never personally covered it. I always want to bring and share the latest best deals possible as a good resource to you. Especially since one of the biggest beauty retailer’s most popular sales of the year is literally just around the corner.

Sephora announced it’s Spring savings annual event is officially beginning Friday, April 9th! Its so perfect in my opinion because it kicks off the season and we all know the rule about replacing makeup each couple of months and unless you lived on a private island you were in quarantine with the rest of the world allll last year. So its safe to say most of your makeup is pretty much expired by now, Which means you need some new makeup and/or beauty products LOL!! (Its ok love, I too need alllll the things)😂 With all the amazing new products that just launched Im confident it wont be to hard to update your collection 😜

Now if you’re new to the Sephora beauty insider program, oh boy are you in for a treat! I say this sarcastically because if you know about the famous Nordstrom Anniversary sale and the different “tiers” of shopping privileges then WELCOME! Its exactly the same here. I did a really funny FULL blog post basically likening these tier sales to high school cliques & how I feel about the different tiers regarding the access of these sales that you can read Here.

Anywho, basically there are 3 tiers that you can be apart of. Each one depends on the amount of money you spend within a full calendar year. Also, dont worry about being pressured into anything because it’s completely FREE to become a Beauty insider! If you haven’t signed up already you can do so Here. If you become an insider you get 10% off from April 15th to the 19th, which is a pretty decent discount. I mean, tax amounts can add up so when these are discounted you can find yourself saving a good buck or two! (A discount is ALWAYS better then no discount I like to say)

Next you have the VIB tier which means you spend at least $350 a year and you get a 15% discount from April 13th to the 19th during the sale. Then lastly if you have Rouge status this means you spend $1000 or more a year, PLUS you get 20% off and are able to shop from April 9th to the 19th. In addition to being Rouge status you can bring a family member or friend who is a non member or lesser status member with you to shop and receive 20% off their purchase as well on April 9th and 10th. Which I do think is pretty amazing!! Now if you don’t feel up to shopping in person yet, you can just go to and add code: OMGSPRING to receive your discount to. Keep in mind these discounts, no matter your tier can be used multiple times! There is no cap for how many times you receive it.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on a bunch of your fave items or products you’ve been wanting to try. With everything opening back up, you want to be ready to look your absolute best!

Heres what I got to try this month…

1. Fenty Beauty Eaze drop blurring skin tint

2. Huda Beauty hoodie false lashes

3. Acne Clear invisible dots

4. Brow microfiling eyebrow pen

5. Water sleeping mask

6. Dolce Garden

7. Greek yoghurt foaming cream cleanser

8. Gloss bomb cream color

March Sephora faves: What Ive been loving

Phone case & holder linked Here

Its hump day! Half way thru the week and the last day of March. So that means Im sharing what products Ive used for the month of March from Sephora. Lets jump right into it.

1. Pore refining toner this 2 in 1 toner/serum combo is sooo legit. It targets pores, improves the look of dark circles and visibly brightens and smooths while fighting shine. I love it because it doesn’t strip your skin and its all clean beauty

2. Pro Filt’r instant retouch concealer Ok so I love a good concealer and I adored this one. It gives great coverage and doesn’t crease uner the eye I think i just need a lighter shade as this one literally blended in with my makeup. Its long wearing, super creamy so wont dry under your eyes. And it has a nice matte finish.

3. Pro Filt’r hydrating long wear foundation this foundation gets a 10 out of 10! It gives medium coverage, its long wearing and has a really good natural finish. It seriously feels super light weight like you’re not wearing makeup at all and I love that.

Until next time…

About me

Meet my fur baby: “Shorty” || & a heartfelt tribute to a friend who is dearly missed

Hello and happy Monday! Hope you guys had a great weekend. Today I wanted to share one of many more to come personal posts about myself. I want you guys to learn more about who I am over all as a person, the things I like, love, hate and so on. And I hope I can learn a bit more about you guys as well. Its funny because I was telling my hubby I dont know why I didn’t start with meet my family or meet my hubby 😂😂 NOPE! I am starting with my fur baby! Lololol

They say your pets become your family and there is something so true about that statement that just resonates with me and I’m sure with you as well if you have pets yourself. Like “Shorty” is MY SON. He is my baby. PERIOD! No-one can tell me any different. Technically I have 3 fur babies…. *insert pic of me & all of the fur babies below

From left to right: Nacho, Shorty & Raja

“Shorty” is a Pomeranian who obvi belongs to me. “Nacho” belongs to my daughter and he is a chihuahua/yorkie mix. Raja belongs to my hubby and he is a full bred Doberman. My niece doesnt have a dog because she is just 6 and cant fully take on the responsibility of a puppy yet. We do plan on getting her one when she is older.

I got “Shorty” as an early anniversary present in May of 2019. I had just lost my other Pomeranian “Tiny” whom I had for the most amazing 19 years! I mean im only 35, so we grew up together. He was the best dog and friend anyone could ask for. *insert pics of my beloved “Tiny” boy

After I put “Tiny” down hubby and the kiddos noticed I just wasnt the same and with good reason of course. I remember how my daughters dog “Nacho” clung to me after. I believe he sensed the sadness and wanted to make sure I was ok. And that is exactly why dogs are just so so amazing. So hubby ended up surprising me with a new fur baby to love! Because there is just so much love to go around! I named him “Shorty” lol and the rest is history as they say.

“Shorty” reminds me of “Tiny” in so many ways. I believe its just personality traits of the breed mostly and that’s why I will always have a Pomeranian. They are the best dogs. And my “Shorty” boy has a punch of big personality packed in his lil body lol. He looooves to chill on my lap. Now I just adore this because this is exactly what I wanted…a lap dog. Lol. In the beginning when he was a puppy puppy omg he drove me INSANE! I think its because I was so used to having an older and very much calmer dog. So going from that to a puppy who wants to play 24/7 was a huge transition.

We have definitely learnt more about each other and our friendship has grown into something that I am so very very thankful for today. I would always ask hubby does he know Im his mama? Because he would just go to any and everyone lol again I was used to “Tiny”. It was just him and I growing up so “Tiny” just wanted to be around me and only me. “shorty” was like I love everyone and want to play with everyone 😂 That puppy stage soon left and while he is still so playful I have no doubt now that he knows I am in fact his mama! He follows me everywhere, sleeps right under me and gives me the best goodnight and morning kisses! I cant wait to see how our friendship grows from here. Dogs really are “mans best friend” “tried & true” until the very end.

I think it is so appropriate to end this post with one of my fave last and final pics of my dearly missed “Tiny” boy. I honor him and the friendship we shared every single day. And I am so so thankful for that 19 year friendship. Bringing that same love and sharing it with another amazing dog is what true friendship really means💕 Do you have any pets? If so how many? What are their names? And whats your fave thing about them? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.

What’s in my Amazon cart: Spring Cleaning Edition

Spring is finally here and that means spring cleaning and all the things that come with it. Organizing, rearranging and throwing out. Every year I like to do this as Im sure everyone else does! This is the beginning of what is to come a more deep cleaning during spring break (when the kiddos are free to partake 😉) lol

#1. Sock/underwear drawer organizer

Ive been looking for a good way to keep my socks and underwear more organized and separate. This one has over 6k reviews so I definitely want to try it.

#2.Fridge/freezer bin organizer

I need something to keep everything in the fridge clutter free and accessible. I think it will over all look super organized and put together.

#3.Drill brush deep cleaner

I browsed upon this and thought it would make life so much easier when cleaning the hard to reach areas. Specifically around the base of the toilet.

#4. Micro fiber cleansing clothes

I get these every year and they last year round. Super durable, gets the job done and can be used for pretty much everything.

#5. Dresser drawer organizer

A few years back when I started to really clean out my closet and get rid of clothing items I didn’t use anymore. I began using the Marie Kondo method of folding clothes. It works wonders and I still use and love that very method. Ive been wanting something that actually separates and creates different spaces for clothing and I think this would do the trick nicely.

#6. Mircro fiber duster

This duster can extend to over 100 inches. Which is perfect for getting the corners of the ceiling and other hard to reach areas.

Until next time…

How to

4 ideas to contribute to your self-care

1. Bubble bath

Bubble baths can be so relaxing. Don’t underestimate the power of one. Add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil or my personal fave Dr. Teals pure epson salt soaking solution. Grab a good book, a glass of wine and some candles and enjoy!

When you eat healthy you feel great, which overall contributes to your physical well being. I know cooking and preparing healthy meals can be time consuming and just stressful.
